The 200-meter-long water channel which is located on Jalan Pantai Kuta III, RT 03/10, Ancol Urban Village, Pademangan, North Jakarta is being dredged.
The mud is 20 centimeters thick
Pademangan Sub-district SDA Executing Unit Head Slamet Riyanto said the dredging was carried out following up on the 2021/2022 Musrenbang proposal as the channel has also experienced silting due to thick silt. It has been ongoing since Thursday (5/5) and was targeted to be completed in three weeks.
"The mud is 20 centimeters thick. We also see a lot of garbage that clogs the water. So far, 16 cubic meters of mud have been transported," he expressed, Wednesday (5/11).
